Character Design Concepts for Seiyaku

I have not drawn Human!Seiyaku since a year or so ago. He sure has changed since I first started drawing his human form…

Trying to design him from the inside out — to reflect his personality and heritage. I am also considering re-naming him. At the time I first developed the character, I thought it was super-creative to give all characters Japanese names [hahaha… heh].

For now, though, here are some rough head shots and exploration of his body type.

Things will work out eventually; new plans will be made.

So, I am still getting used to the transition between my beloved MSPaint and this new Paintbrush program and it kind of limits what I can do in terms of editing things, so it can make me become very frustrated very easily.  But, since it was Rosie’s:  http://junryou.tumblr.com b-day this past week, I wanted to at least sketch her something. D8  So, I drew her my favorite of her characters, Seiyaku. <3  I hope to be able to figure out how to finish this sketch some day. DX

Seriously, you always get his look spot-on [he looks so good in your style, too!]. THAT ANGLE. HNNN… I love it so much!!! The way you drew his ears and mane-fluff and HIS NOSE. LOVELOVELOVE.

I imagine Yorokobi would be just as obsessed with GLTAS as I am. Seiyaku would silently like it… a lot. This is how I imagine tomorrow at 8AM.

Tomorrow morning is going to be a lake filled with my tears. I just know it.

Wait. It’s midnight. TODAY. THIS MORNING. IT’S GOING TO BE SO PAINFUL, BUT I WILL ENDURE. ALL WILL BE WELL.

Finished Seiyaku’s lineless painting!

Got a lot done tonight during the Livestream. Thank you all who came by! <3 May try & finish him up tomorrow.

My plan for the day was to work on my website.

Then I got side-tracked by Seiyaku; who insisted that I do his lineless portrait.

Technically, I’m still working on my website, since I plan to use all my lineless paintings on the site. Heh heh heh… Thinking of holding a Livestream session or two, dedicated to the paintification of Sei’s lineless self. I’ll keep y’all posted.

Aaand here are the end-of-stream sketches that came about today!

We have Pureheart, NutMeg, & Kita snoozing together,

Looks like Seiyaku’s about to play an April Fool’s prank on Yorokobi. oAo
