Finally finished [a year after sketching this…]. Any time I tried to work on painting this piece, I flailed and couldn’t focus. Today, with the help of those who came to my Livestream, I was able to GET IT DONE [thanks guys!].

Probably the most naturalistic presentation of Yoro I have ever done.

I adore how Yoro’s sitting there in the ramen, completely joyful, and I love how Grey’s unhappy about Yoro spoiling the soup with his feathered butt. FOR THE LOVE OF ONIGIRI, THIS IS ADORABLE. BUUUH, YOU EVEN COLORED IT. The details you poured into this, from their tongues to their toes, just makes me squeak with delight.

He’s not normally this scary… oops.

I think he dislocated his jaw in his excitement.

Leftover feelings from yesterday spilled over into today.

My normally joyful & hopeful Yorokobi reflects that downer mood for me right now. Cheer up, Yoro! All will be well.

I imagine Yorokobi would be just as obsessed with GLTAS as I am. Seiyaku would silently like it… a lot. This is how I imagine tomorrow at 8AM.

Tomorrow morning is going to be a lake filled with my tears. I just know it.

Wait. It’s midnight. TODAY. THIS MORNING. IT’S GOING TO BE SO PAINFUL, BUT I WILL ENDURE. ALL WILL BE WELL.

Been a long time since I’ve drawn Yorokobi in his human form… He decided it was time for a new hairstyle — something that suits his personality better.

Lesson learned: Never leave a fruit pie out where Yorokobi will find it.

Transformation

This has been sitting on my hard drive for probably a year now? Not sure. Just felt like cleaning it up a bit. Yorokobi changes from his human form to his gryphon self. [Ignore the anatomical errors…]

A while ago, feri-san told me to stop drawing Yorokobi so cute. So today I asked Yoro to give me the fiercest look he could garner. After a few failed attempts, I told him he’d never get another strawberry from me again if he didn’t do it right.

Once I got him to stop bawling, we gave it another go. Here’s the result.

Poor guy. Give him some strawberries for his hard work.

Felt like doing some fairly mindless scribbling today, but ended up working on Yoro’s realistic portrait instead. [Insert internet “derp” here.] I would really love to get this & another painting done soon, but we’ll see.
