Fast-forward a few years into the IZ universe, and you get Dib taking advantage of his height difference. Poor little alien doesn’t stand a chance. [At least, not until those retractable pak-legs whip out…]

For my followers who are into the show, Invader Zim, I HIGHLY suggest reading [all] the fan fiction cassiesstickerstories/Alohilani/HideousBlob has written. She does an incredible job of keeping the characters true to their natures, and her stories Experimental & Hypothetical [which these doodles are based on] are pulse-spikingly splendid, psychological adventures.

Crossover time! I wanted to draw Zim in the Subarashiki Kono Sekai [The World Ends With You] style. It was challenging, but the result was worth it, I think.

Couldn’t decide whether to make him a reaper or a player. Maybe he’s both? Heh!

I think Rembrandt’s ghost came into my room and kicked me in the head for doing this.

Anyways, this is my little entry for Cassie’s minicontest. We had to draw/write something that explained what was going on in this picture. Originally, I was going to draw something much more dark, but I decided to do something more humorous… [In-between that picture and this, Zim scooted over and donned his human disguise, as the prof. & viewers came in.]

Why yes, there are some cameos in there.

Had the Lilo & Stitch OST stuck in my head, and I had Invader Zim on the mind. They melded into this super-quick drawing. [I don’t ship Lilo & Dib together, but I do think they could have some cute, relate-able interactions!]

It also appears that Stitch has found a new chew toy.

School labs can be dangerous. One would think Zim would be more careful with sharp objects… He must be surprised that Dib is helping clean the wound.

Perhaps he should consider that Dib has an ulterior motive.

Looks like Dib’s gonna be keeping Gaz up all night, babbling about how he finally got a blood sample from the alien invader.

Follow-up to this piece.

Dib gets fed up with the level of their brawl, and Zim discovers the drawbacks of being shorter than his opponent. After much fidgeting, Zim gives in. I must challenge the logic of having GIR play doctor, though…

[The last one is actually a poke at myself. When I sketched that first piece, I didn’t realize I had given the rivals the same injuries on the same sides of their bodies.]

Just scribbling aimlessly on my tablet, creating shapes to then “find” and draw a picture from the scribble. This is what I saw. Something is wrong with me.

Although, Zim gets picked on so much in the show, there would have to be a point where he physically lashes back in a not-so-humorously-pleasant manner. I imagine Dib might be shocked by a more brutal form of retaliation…
